There’s a super terrestrial beauty for us to find in forests, oceans, stars, and family life, and this is what moves artist and textile designer Lisa Smith to create objects and patterns for her ever-expanding POEM CROWN projects. When not chasing color or light in material, Lisa can be found swimming, hiking, and collaborating with her familiars: animal, vegetable, and mineral.  POEM CROWN products express the idea that every person, object, and situation is continually surrounded by and contains poems.
